Bayo Adekanmbi has been announced as the new Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Nigeria. He replaces Larry Annetts who moved to South Africa to become the Chief Marketing Officer too. Before taking up this new position, Bayo was the General Manager, Business Intelligence.
Bayo has 15-year experience on leading brands in Nigerian and MEA region, as a Business/Marketing/Brand Strategist, Consumer Insight Analyst and Business Intelligence professional.
He is a Chartered Marketer of South Africa (SETA/University of Wits) and a SAS-certified Data Programmer/Statistical Analyst. He has attended Executive Education in Telecoms Strategy and Finance at INSEAD Business School, France and Columbia Business School, New York respectively.
