The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) has joined forces with Victoria’s Secret to launch its Growth Accelerator program in Nigeria. The AWIEF Growth Accelerator has been functioning since 2017 as a premier business development initiative, supporting ventures led or owned by women that demonstrate a capacity for high growth.

The program offers a high-level business development and growth strategy training, corporate advice, mentorship, individualized assistance, networking opportunities, and access to funds.

As part of Victoria’s Secret initiative, The Tour Impact Fund, the Nigerian version of the program will be introduced. This initiative aims to promote gender equality and empower women around the world while amplifying their voices.

The program will provide an opportunity to twenty women who are founders or leaders of innovative and growth-focused businesses based in Nigeria, to participate in a high-impact, investment readiness program that spans seven months.

The program is open to businesses across multiple sectors. However, priority will be given to technology-based and tech-enabled businesses within pivotal sectors. These sectors include agriculture, health, education, creative industries, financial services, renewable energy, logistics, and climate-smart solutions.

Applications for the program are open until March 24.
