The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) has announced the commencement of its nomination process for the prestigious AWIEF Awards. These awards are a testament to the remarkable accomplishments and influential roles of women entrepreneurs and founders throughout the African continent.
As a leading pan-African organization, AWIEF’s core mission is to bolster women’s economic empowerment by addressing gender disparities and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and business leadership among women in Africa.
The AWIEF Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the exceptional contributions of African women who are at the forefront of fostering inclusive economic growth and societal advancement through their transformative leadership and groundbreaking business initiatives. The awards feature a variety of categories, including the Young Entrepreneur Award, Tech Entrepreneur Award, and Social Entrepreneur Award, among others.
AWIEF extends an invitation to nominate emerging and established female entrepreneurs who have exhibited remarkable vision, leadership, innovation, and business acumen. “This is your opportunity to bring to light the extraordinary achievements of women who are making significant impacts in their respective fields and communities,” AWIEF encourages. The AWIEF Awards are not just an event but a platform to showcase the inspiring stories of women who are shaping the future of African entrepreneurship.
The 2024 AWIEF Awards winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony and gala dinner on November 29 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.
