Gone are the days when a laptop is so weighty that it becomes a burden. Recognising this, tech companies are in a rat-race to miniaturise gadgets especially phones and laptops. Apple (Macbook, 13.1 mm) may have pioneered the production of slim and thin laptops but as at this moment, HP is in pole position as it owns the enviable record of producing the world thinnest laptop-the 13-inch HP Spectre which measure just 10.4 mm. It astonishingly squeezed an Intel core i5 or i7 processor into this new PC.
The 13-inch HP Spectre beats other ultrabooks like Lenovo’s Yoga 2-in-1 (14.9 mm), ASUS Zenbook UX305FA (12.3 mm) and MacBook (13.1 mm.)
Hewlett Packard is the second biggest producer of PCs in the world while Chinese company, Lenovo is number one.
