Asus to announce Zenfone 5 at the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, Asus, has announced that it will launch the Zenfone 5 at the upcoming 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

This was done via a tweet as shown below and it has also created a page for the countdown to the launch

The press event is expected to take place on Tuesday Feb. 27, 2018 7:30pm Italian Pavilion and it will be live-streamed on the company’s official site.

Not much is known about the phone series but rumour has it that the Zenfone 5 Lite model is expected to feature a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a Snapdragon SoC.

Early in the month of August 2018, Asus revealed four new phones from its Zenfone 4 line: the ZenFone 4, ZenFone Max,ZenFone 4 Max Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro.

Apart from this new announcement, it is expected that Samsung will be unveiling the Samsung 9 at the same event. A lot to look forward to.
