Africa is set to host her first ever event devoted to Artificial Intelligence; AI EXPO 2018.
The event which is scheduled to place in Cape Town, South Africa between September 9 and 11 at Century Conference Centre will play host to startups and investors.
AI Expo Africa 2018 is focusing on real world applications & trends driving the AI Economy in Africa and wider global economy, exploring the AI Business Opportunity now and seeking to build an AI Business focused community in Africa.
The packed 2 day event expectedly will have 400 delegates in attendance, coupled with 27 Speakers, 5 Keynotes, Exhibition and Innovation Café.
According to expo chairman Roy Bannister in an interview with Disrupt Africa, “Allied to the inclusion of AI cloud platform providers, Tier one and two deployment and service providers, AI startups, investors, educators, government and AI ecosystem community builders, this event will give those attending a real feel for what’s available now or in the near future.
