Thrive Global is a corporate and consumer wellbeing and productivity platform. It provides trainings, seminars, e-course, coaching and ongoing support based on the latest scientific findings from experts in the field of neuroscience, psychology, productivity, sports and sleep.
Arianna founded and launched Huffington Post, an American online news aggregator and blog on the 9th of May, 2005, along with Kenneth Lerer, Andrew Breitbart and Jonah Peretti. The site now offers news, satire, blogs, and original content and covers politics, business, entertainment, environment, technology, popular media, lifestyle, culture, comedy, healthy living, women’s interests, and local news.
Prior to The Huffington Post, Huffington hosted a website called AriannaOnline.com. Her first foray into the Internet was a website called Resignation.com, which called for the resignation of President Bill Clinton and was a rallying place for conservatives opposing Clinton.
On February 7, 2011, AOL acquired the Huffington Post for US$315 million, making Arianna Huffington editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post Media Group.
Arianna also announced in a press release that the new company has closed its Series A funding round led by Lerer Hippeau Ventures. The company has already begun piloting trainings and workshops with Accenture, a top professional services company.
