Digital Explorers is currently seeking Nigerian ICT specialists for a paid one year placement and emerging technologies training in Lithuania.
The Programme is a career advancement Programme for Nigerian digital talents in Lithuania -a vibrant and ever-growing European ICT hub – and reintegration support in Nigeria upon return.
Also, the Programme connects Nigerian Digital Talents (developers, digital creatives, and biz devs) and one of Europe’s most impressive up-and-coming ICT ecosystems for unexpected partnerships and mutual growth.
Digital Explorers from Nigeria can choose the type of training they receive, the company they will work in, and really experience the local ICT culture from the inside. All with a supportive and encouraging team of Nigerian and Lithuanian experts by their side.
At the end of the journey:
Digital Explorers are expected to return home with pockets full of valuable experiences, their own business ideas and new-found professional links between the two countries.
Digital Explorers will:
- Gain paid employment in Nigeria’s ICT sector
- Start their companies or startups
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and network between the countries
- Freelance or work remotely internationally
ARE YOU AN EXPLORER?
Eligibility Criteria
You should apply to become Digital Explorer if:
- You are a Nigerian ICT specialist who currently lives in Nigeria.
- You have at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience. But 10 years of experience is also fine.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field from an accredited tertiary institution or, alternatively, at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- You are strongly motivated to be a part of Digital Explorers Programme.
- You are able to participate in the whole selection process if shortlisted.
- You are able to relocate to Lithuania in July to spend one full year as part of the Programme.
