The French South African Tech Labs (FSAT Labs) has called for applications for its first accelerator programme in Century City, Cape Town South Africa.
The programme will be run via a partnership between South Africa’s Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) and Methys which have both invested US$720,000 in the accelerator programme.
Accordingly, applications are expected from startups and entrepreneurs in the Western Cape province that intend to expand their activities in the digital sector, with a clear focus on black entrepreneurship.
The six-month incubation programme is free for selected startups and will see FSAT Labs provide a wide range of services and support from a team of experts.
This first phase will involve the selected startups going through 6 months training from professionals and experts to launch your business and make it sustainable. This will be immediately followed by up to 24 extra months to transform it into a mature company. In between, these startups will be granted easy access to angel investors and Venture Capitalists to enable them to raise funds and become independent.
Applications close on April 15th. Apply here.
