Applications are now open for the Timbuktoo MineTech Accelerator programme, a groundbreaking initiative by the Timbuktoo MineTech Hub aimed at driving innovation in mining technology, empowering startups, and scaling transformative technologies within the African mining sector.
This pioneering programme is managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the Timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation and the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR). It is the first initiative of its kind on the continent, specifically focused on reimagining the mining industry by empowering youth-led startups.
The accelerator programme offers participants access to extensive networks, cutting-edge technology, and financial resources. Through this initiative, the Timbuktoo MineTech Hub aims to promote sustainability and enhance operational efficiency, thereby unlocking new opportunities for socio-economic development across Africa.
Applications for the programme are open until February 13.
