The South Seven, a South-Eastern based investment network in partnership with DevEast and arise is calling for applications from innovative entrepreneurs for its first investment event of 2016; Owerri Impact Day. This bi-annual event, which will take place on Friday, November 25th will bring angel investors focused on the South East region together at a pitch event where the best startups and entrepreneurs will receive funding of N5 million and above.

The Owerri Impact Day will be a rallying point for investing in South Eastern based ventures across various sectors. Ahead of November 25th, South Seven calls for the formation of syndicates that will invest in the shortlisted startups. Interested investors/syndicates should contact arise via email at info@ariseinvest.co for information on how to register.

Shortlisted startups will be announced on November 13th, and those entrepreneurs will be invited to make formal pitches at the Owerri Impact Day on November 25th to a group of angel investors. Selection criteria include but not limited to:

    a. Funding requirement of up to N5 million.

    b. Business must operate in the South East region.

Interested startups can apply here and investors can leave their details here to receive additional information.
