Applications are now open for the latest edition of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP), designed to support startups through comprehensive training, mentorship, and a funding opportunity of US$5,000. Administered by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), TEEP represents a significant commitment of US$100 million over a decade, aimed at identifying, training, mentoring, and funding 10,000 African entrepreneurs.
Successful applicants to this year’s programme will benefit from 12 weeks of intensive online training, which will equip them with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their business ventures. In addition to the training, participants will be paired with a world-class mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the process.
Each selected entrepreneur will receive US$5,000 in seed capital to help validate their business concept, along with opportunities for additional funding as they progress. Furthermore, participants will gain access to the extensive TEF network of startups, fostering connections and collaboration within the entrepreneurial community.
This initiative aims to empower African entrepreneurs, enabling them to turn their innovative ideas into viable businesses that can contribute to economic growth and job creation across the continent.
