SWIFT Innotribe, a global startup competition has announced that African Fintech startups can now apply for its startup challenge.
The challenge which is in its third year will feature in SWIFT’s African Regional Conference (ARC) which will be held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire between 16 and 18 may, 2017.
From the pool of applications, 10 startups to take part in the programme in Abidjan. They will have the opportunity to work with Venture Capitalists, angel investors and banking representatives as well as display their innovative solutions and products.
After the presentations, the audience will nominate three finalists who will automatically qualify for SWIFT’s annual global financial services conference, Sibos which will take place in Toronto Canada from 16-19 October 2017. The three best startups at Sibos will be rewarded with €10 000 cash prize each.

Applications for the challenge are open until mid-march 2017 with successful applicants being announced in April 2017.
