    Applications are Currently on for the Itanna Fintech Startup Accelerator Programme

    Do you have an innovative Fintech Startup idea or business and are you ready to take your business to the next level? Then this programme might just be what you need.

    Itanna is looking for disruptive and scalable startups to join its 5-month programme. The first cohort is FinTech focused. It will commence in Feb. 2018.

    Itanna seeks disruptive businesses targeting the African market, with pan African potential and great social impact. Each cohort will have a different focus and the first programme will be focused on Financial Technology.

    The programme is open to all FinTech businesses; however Itanna is particularly interested in the following themes: Blockchain technologies, mobile and virtual registrars, credit scoring, data analytics, online lending, investTech, ‘Bots, payments and remittances.

    Itanna is funded by the Honeywell Group and forms a core component of its innovation strategy.The Honeywell Group is committed to funding and supporting entrepreneurs and startups. In conjunction with AERF, the Honeywell Group will also provide mentorship from business leaders and entrepreneurs to help you develop your business model.

    Honeywell Group will leverage on its local and international network and portfolio businesses to help you scale up, deploy your products and gain access to partners and customers.

    The AERF is a social impact initiative seeking to fund disruptive businesses in Africa. The initiative is focused on revolutionizing Africa to make it a better place for the children. It is a group of former private equity professional, investment bankers, innovation expert and lawyer turned economic revolutionaries. The AERF  specializes in raising capital, writing great business plans, coaching CEOs and negotiating with investors – collectively the group has raised close to $100bn of capital for African firms.

    For the accelerator the top 10 companies are chosen by a screening committee, which is composed of members of the Honeywell Group, AERF and external experts.

    These companies will be the companies that most align with the innovation themes, promising and are ready to scale.

    Applications are opened to businesses across Africa with support rendered as it pertains immigration process and finding appropriate accommodation.
