Application is currently open for the Benue Hack 2018 schedule to commence on 22 September,2018 at 8, Jonah Jang Crescent, Entrepreneurship Development center, Makurdi, Benue State.
The hack powered by AgritecHub seeks to encourage tech startups and initiates consciousness of the digital and agricultural revolution in Benue State.
Agrictech and social innovations Hub are pioneering the BENUE HACK 2018 aimed at providing solutions to challenges facing the agricultural sector in Benue State.
The competition is billed to span for two(2) days during which entrepreneurs or developers resident in Benue will converge in Makurdi and will be presented with the same problem and will be tasked with providing realistic cost effective solution to the problem.
At the end of the competition, entrepreneurs are expected to present a preliminary proposal and skeletal software or tech based solution if they have to a panel of experts who will judge the worthiness of each entry for the Grand prize .
Eligibility
- Entrepreneurs/Teams must be resident in Benue State.
- Must be between 17-35years of age.
- Must be passionate and willing to implement solutions.
Benefit
- Cash prize of N100,000 for the best team, N50,000 for the runner up.
- 2 months incubation and funding of idea.
