Rumours have been swirling around that the new iPhones, “iPhone 6s & iPhone 6s Plus” could get a new 12 megapixel Apple iSight camera with more details emerging. The new camera is expected to be one of the standout features of both devices and it has reportedly been designed to produce improved photos in low light conditions and also take in more light. In addition the new camera, the new iPhones will also get a faster Apple A9 processor, a 2GB RAM and improved graphics.
Several rumors have suggested the new iPhone 6s could incorporate the “Force Touch” capabilities first introduced with the Apple Watch, which is able to distinguish between a light tap and a harder press, enabling new gestures. Other sources claim this could be limited to the iPhone 6s Plus.
The displays on both devices should also get a bump in resolution, the iPhone 6S expected to have a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the iPhone 6S Plus should be getting a Quad HDF display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.
There have been conflicting rumours concerning the addition of a new 4-inch iPhone 6c to Apple’s 2015 lineup but other reports have called these rumors incorrect.
While Apple has yet to announce a launch date, reports claim that Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones at a press event on the 9th of September.
