If you own an Apple device, well, you’ll be happy to know a software update just released which is iOS 8.1.1 and it comes with several improvements to the mobile operating system. Apple’s released note suggests that it’s focused on increasing the stability and performance on the iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, two devices that have been noted with sluggish performance with the newly released iOS 8. Other improvements include bug fixes, possibly for all devices that have iOS on it.
We hope this update fixes some of the issues on some models of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that have caused devices with 128GB of storage to reboot at random times, and also multiple crashes on the iPhone 5.
We’ll need to actually have a hands-on with the new OS for a bit before we actually know for sure what the update brings.
If you haven’t gotten any notification of the new update, head on and check your device for the update now by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.
