Apple is gearing up for a significant series of announcements starting the coming Monday, October 28, with strong indications pointing towards the unveiling of the latest Mac models. Greg Joswiak, the company’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, playfully hinted at the upcoming events with a post on X, teasing, “Mac (π) your calendars!”βa clear nod to the expected Mac-related news.
Joswiak’s message was a teaser for the tech community: “We have an exciting week of announcements ahead, starting on Monday morning,” he wrote, building anticipation for what’s to come.
The tech industry has been abuzz with predictions that Apple will introduce new desktop Macs and MacBooks equipped with the next-generation M4 chipsets. This anticipated reveal comes exactly one year after the tech giant showcased its first laptops powered by the M3 chips. Although the M4 chipset made its debut in an iPad Pro earlier this year, Apple’s Mac lineup has yet to be updated with the new silicon.
Rumors have long circulated that Apple was planning to roll out M4-powered iMacs, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and a redesigned Mac mini by early 2025. However, it now seems that Apple is set to announce these updates much sooner, strategically timed before the height of the holiday shopping rush.
But the excitement doesn’t stop with hardware. Apple is also slated to release software updates for iPhone, iPad, and Mac on Monday, which will introduce users to the latest Apple Intelligence features. This comes on the heels of the recent launch of the newest iPad Mini, further expanding Apple’s robust product portfolio.
