It is being rumoured that the next iPhone SE will come with 5G connectivity. A reliable source who reported to Bloomberg said that Apple intends March 8th to host its next hardware event and show off this 2022 version of the iPhone SE, as well as a refreshed iPad Air that adds a new CPU and 5G for cellular-equipped models.
An analyst at the Phone company has said it will be a low-cost 5G iPhone SE with connection speeds comparable to the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro versions. It’s worth noting that the fastest mmWave 5G speeds with the iPhone 13 models are limited to the United States, and that’s likely to be the case with the iPhone SE as well if it supports mmWave speeds.
MacRumors claims there are some features that are going to be great at the $399 price point that the iPhone SE sells at. Its guide covers everything about the upcoming iPhone SE based on rumors and past release history.
As mentioned above, the new iPhone SE will most likely have a speedier processor and a better camera. It will, however, keep the current model’s iPhone 8-era outlook.
The new iPad Air, meanwhile, will get a chipset update as well as 5G connectivity. Bloomberg didn’t mention much about the new Mac that Apple may introduce at the same event, but most recent rumours indicate that the company will launch a new 27-inch iMac Pro model.
For some iPhone fans, this idea of a new iPhone SE might not seem exciting. However, a further report from Bloomberg confirms that Apple would most likely introduce the iOS 15.4 in the first half of March 2022.
Among other improvements, the update is rumored to include a feature that would allow you to unlock your iPhone with Face ID while wearing a mask. This seems like exciting news.
The iOS 15.4 may also include new emoji and the long-awaited Universal Control feature, which allows a single keyboard and mouse setup to work across numerous Macs and iPads.
