Apple has announced a free fix program for a small percentage of iPhone 11 that do not respond to touch due to an issue with the display module. Apple says that affected devices were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020.
If your iPhone 11 has been exhibiting this issue, please use the serial number checker on the program page to see if your device is eligible for this program. If so, Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will provide service, free of charge.
Service Process
Choose one of the options below to have your iPhone 11 serviced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program.
- Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
- Make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store.
- Contact Apple Support to arrange mail-in service via the Apple Repair Center.
Note that this display module replacement program does not apply to the iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Apple says it may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. This worldwide Apple program doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 11.
The program covers affected iPhone 11 devices for 2 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
Apple launched the iPhone 11 in September 2019.
