It’s official, Apple has sent out official invitations to its next event which is taking place at Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco, California, on September 9th. The tagline this year reads “Hey Siri, give us a hint.”
The event will unveil the next generation iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as well as the long awaited Apple TV hardware update but don’t expect a new 4-inch “iPhone 6c” to show up on stage. According to sources, Apple has been working on a new 4-inch iPhone with the capabilities of last year’s iPhone 6 but the device is not yet ready to ship.

As for the new iPhones, we’re expecting a 12MP rear camera upgrade, 4K video recording, and a screen flash for selfies, Apple Watch-like motion wallpapers , iOS 9 and watchOS 2 and new colour options for the iPhone 6S and 6S plus.

Apple’s homepage has also been updated, noting that it will live stream the event for those not in attendance. Streaming the event requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7 or later or a 2nd- or 3rd-gen Apple TV with software 6.2 or later and PC’s.
