The highly anticipated Apple event of the year just got legitimized by the Cupertino company. Apple sent out invites for its second event via press invites and a new page on their site. The event is taking place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California on October 27. Which is said to be centered around everything Mac.
Apple’s Mac lineup is in need of a major upgrade and it has been some time since Apple actually gave its Mac lineup some major upgrades.
Apple updated its Macs every year, but these changes are more of tweaks and not innovation. The event should be the long-awaited moment for users that have delayed upgrades.
If rumours are anything to go by, this year’s MacBook Pro should get a huge overhaul. An OLED touchscreen in place of function keys, Touch ID and Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. An updated iMac could also happen and we could get to see a 5k standalone display.
Regardless, whatever Apple has worked on will all become clear during next weeks’ event.
