Apple has dominated the Smartphone market with its sophisticated and stylish iPhones. Perhaps, it is time for the tech giant to step up their game Google is planning to manufacture its own Android phones.
According to reports, Google is in talks with mobile phone manufacturers to make Google-branded phones which will no doubt expand the company’s the hardware business.
Despite Google dominating the software business with its Android Operating System that is used in several smartphones globally as well as allowing brands like Huawei and LG to make the Google Nexus Phone, it has made little or no impact when it comes to hardware. The Google-branded phone which should be available before the end of the year will allow Google to take more control of design, manufacturing, and software.
This news will be unwelcome by Apple because the sale of iPhone and Apple’s revenue has dipped in the past few months. This slide halted a 13-year run of quarterly revenue.
