According to a new report in Bloomberg, we may get to see Apple’s first wireless charging technology on its iPhone and iPad in 2017. The report claims the company is working on a wireless charging technology for its next gen devices which is under development … the tech is said to be able to charge a phone from at least some distance… well this makes sense since Apple is said to be dropping the 3.5mm headphone jack from its upcoming iPhone, which is still to be unveiled later this year but keep in mind that this is still a rumour as of now.
Though this technology isn’t something new to the tech world but for the next iDevices, it’s not necessarily a bad thing losing the headphone jack after all, since we’d probably be getting another way to charge our devices while listening to music.
