The iOS empire which recently sold its 1 billionth iPhone could cross the $1 trillion mark this year in terms of revenue generated by iOS. This is according to a report by Asymco’s Horace Dediu. The company is known for its expansive and constantly growing product range. Although the iPhone is actually the product Apple can rely to continually produce staggering revenue.
The intelligence firm says that the iPhone will have sold at least 1.2 billion units in its first 10 years, making it the “most successful product of all-time”.

The intelligence company believes that there is an additional $100 billion in revenue from iOS services to add into that mix, meaning “iOS will have generated over $1 trillion in revenues for Apple sometime this year.”
The report has also provided an insight into the success of iPhone to able to stand the test of time against every “iPhone killer” that comes along.
