CcHUB in partnership with the WorldBank and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is hosting the Data4Governance Challenge.
The event is a 3-day design for development hackathon scheduled to hold from the February 17th to February 19th, 2020. Teams will compete to leverage data to create compelling narratives, visualisations and models that will be used by the government to improve service delivery and by citizens to promote political participation in governance.
The 3-day challenge in Lagos will bring together hackers across the areas of design, data science, data analytics, software development, machine learning and artificial intelligence to build models and prototypes to illuminate an immense amount of data on Nigeria. The top teams with the best visualizations will be awarded cash prizes of up to $10,000.
