Andela Vice President, Global Operations, Seni Sulyman has announced that he is leaving the company this May.
He tweeted about his transition today and shared his transition in a blog post.
According to him, he is taking a personal sabbatical to rest, rest, rest, reflect, read, write, and re-energize.
Omowale David-Ashiru, the current Nigeria Country Director “will continue to lead Africa operations, supported by a phenomenal team of Country Directors, completing a transition that we began last year.”
Before Andela, Sulyman had worked with Konga, HP, CardinalStone, Bristow and Bain & Company. He joined Andela as Director of Operations for Nigeria in May 2016, then moved into the role of Country Director of Nigeria in January 2017.
In March 2018, Seni Sulyman became the Vice-President of Global Operations responsible for leading and building high performance teams, and driving change management initiatives across Andela’s African operations, in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana and Egypt.
“I’ll likely plan new sessions of Real Talk with Seni, and share my learnings with other entrepreneurs and leaders building companies. After some time off, I’ll plan my next great adventure in line with my life’s purpose of building an ecosystem of exemplary African businesses and leaders, and creating commercial bridges between Africa and the world.” says Seni.
