An Amazon Prime cargo jetliner crashed in Texas claiming all three lives onboard. According to the US Federal Aviation Administration, the aircraft, which was being operated by Atlas Air Inc., was flying from Miami to Houston when it crashed at around noon Central time on Saturday.
Investigators are still working to find out the cause of the crash, however, meteorologists from AccuWeather suggest poor weather could be to blame. “There were a few showers with gusty winds in the vicinity of Houston at the time of the crash. While an investigation needs to take place, these were around the area and could have been a factor in the crash,” said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alan Reppert.
