    Airtel Tanzania launches Airtel Money Service

    airtel-moneyAirtel Tanzania has announced an innovative service on Airtel money service that will provide its customers with a new experience in transacting mobile money.

    Speaking during the launch, Airtel Managing Director Sunil Colaso said: “Today we are happy to launch our new Airtel Money campaign dubbed “Hatoki Mtu Hapa” loosely meaning “no one will leave here.”

    “Under the package Airtel Money customers will enjoy unlimited free transaction on a purchase of a weekly or monthly ‘Bure Pack.’

    We have designed a service that will give our customers the sought affordability and flexibility in money transactions.

    “The new Bure Packs will provide Airtel Money Customers the freedom to select a preferred pack that suits their needs with unlimited transactions for either 1 week or 1 month, as they see fit.”

    He said customers not enrolled to Bure Packs will continue to enjoy the best rates in the market by far paying only half of what other operators are charging..

    “We are certain our loyal customers will benefit from not only quality, speed and flexibility of our Airtel Money service but also the best and most affordable rates too.”

    Speaking about the mechanics Beatrice Singano Airtel Tanzania’s Corporate Affairs Director said, “to subscribe to ‘Hatoki Mtu Hapa’ packs customers will pay a one-time fixed subscription cost of 1,500/- for unlimited transactions for a week, whilst those subscribing to the monthly Bure Pack, will enrol for 5,000/-.
