The collaboration between AXA Mansard and Airtel is in response to the goal of the Federal Government through the National Health Insurance Scheme to allow easy access to healthcare for all Nigerians by making use of the USSD channel, a platform that is interactive and easy to use.
Airtel can now conveniently enroll for robust and affordable health insurance plans provided by AXA Mansard by dialing the shortcode *987*7#. Users can have access to more than 1,000 hospitals nationwide for quality healthcare services.
Muyiwa Ebitanmi, the Head Mobile Financial Services Airtel Nigeria commented on the collaboration with AXA Mansard that the mobile health insurance initiative demonstrates the commitment of Airtel to provide relevant and innovative solutions to empower more Nigerians allowing them access to the best health insurance value offering.

The collaboration between AXA Mansard and Airtel Nigeria is to solve the challenges and assist Nigerians to access a viable Health Insurance Scheme.
