Techcrunch has published the agenda for the TechCrunch Battlefield of Sub-Saharan Africa taking place on the 11th of October in Nairobi Kenya.
This is the first time the event is taking place in Africa.
The pitch-off competition will feature startups from all over Africa in three categories: Productivity and Utility, Social Good, and Gaming and Entertainment. Top notch investors and founders, as well as TechCrunch editors, will serve as judges to pick the winners in each category as well as an overall winner – the best early stage startup in sub-Saharan Africa.
Tickets for the event are free but due to limited seating in the Nairobi venue anyone interested must apply.
Follow this link to the application page, answer a few short questions, and Techcrunch will get in touch with you if you are lucky.
If you are not lucky or you can’t get to Kenya, don’t worry; the event will streamed live on Techcrunch
