AfriLabs, the preeminent pan-African network encompassing innovation and technology hubs, recently celebrated a milestone expansion as it incorporated 16 additional hubs into its fold. This strategic enlargement enhances the network’s reach to a total of 478 hubs, now spanning over 260 cities across 53 nations within the African continent.

As a pivotal institution in the realm of innovation, AfriLabs is dedicated to fostering growth within the technology and entrepreneurship sectors. It accomplishes this by cultivating a synergistic environment where technology hubs, burgeoning startups, investors, and various influential participants in the ecosystem collaborate.

The latest expansion enriches the network’s diversity and presence across the continent. From the northern reaches of Africa, the network now includes such esteemed members as REDSTART TUNISIA, ILEY’COM, Impact Partner, Future Islands, and EgyptInnovate. Adding to the Western African cohort are hubs like COUVEUSE PAPRICAI, EarlyFounders Labs, ACity Technology & Entrepreneurship Foundation, ZEBOX West Africa and OnlineHubNG.

East Africa has witnessed the integration of C4DLab-Computing for Development Lab, Agri Frontier Growth Hub, and JASIRI into the AfriLabs family. Completing the geographical representation, from the southern part of the continent, the Silulo Foundation, UWC Future-Innovation Lab, and the Entrepreneurial Planning Institute – DigBiz Network have all become integral components of the growing AfriLabs network.

Mayssa Mrabet, the Community Director of AfriLabs, expressed profound excitement over the new additions, extending a heartfelt welcome to the 16 latest members that have joined the thriving ecosystem led by AfriLabs. Her statement underscores the enthusiasm with which the organization embraces new collaborations and the unyielding commitment to advancing the technology and innovation landscape across Africa.
