AfricInvest, a leading pan-African private equity firm, has acquired a significant minority stake in Arrow Holding, a fast-growing HR technology and staffing group with operations spanning Africa and the Middle East. The investment, made through AfricInvest Fund IV, is aimed at supporting Arrow’s digital transformation strategy and fueling its expansion within the region’s rapidly evolving staffing and outsourcing industry.

Founded to meet the rising demand for workforce management solutions in emerging markets, Arrow Holding has grown into a robust regional platform offering staffing, payroll, and workforce management services. Through its network of subsidiaries, the group delivers integrated HR solutions to both multinational corporations and government entities, combining deep local market expertise with global best practices.

The partnership with AfricInvest will enable Arrow to:

    • Strengthen its technology infrastructure, including the launch of the Arrow AI Hub, a new initiative focused on delivering advanced digital HR services.
    • Accelerate strategic acquisitions across Africa to expand its footprint and service capabilities.
    • Enhance cross-border talent mobility, promoting compliant and ethical employment practices across the continent.

The investment aligns with Arrow Holding’s long-term vision of building a pan-African HR and staffing platform that fosters inclusive growth, decent work, and regional integration in the labor market.

Mohamed El Derwy, Founder and CEO of Arrow Holding, described the partnership as a pivotal moment in the company’s journey:

This partnership marks a transformative milestone for Arrow Holding. Together with AfricInvest, we are accelerating digital HR innovation, empowering African and Middle Eastern talent, and setting new standards for ethical, technology-driven employment across emerging markets.

Ismail Talbi, Senior Partner at AfricInvest, praised Arrow’s impact and potential:

Arrow Holding is transforming how HR and staffing services are delivered across Africa. By combining technology, compliance, and regional expertise, Arrow is creating a more connected and transparent employment ecosystem. We are proud to support this next phase of growth as Arrow scales its impact and drives the professionalization of the HR industry across the African continent and beyond.

This transaction marks the tenth investment under AfricInvest Fund IV, the firm’s flagship vehicle focused on mid-sized African businesses with strong regional growth trajectories. The fund targets companies that demonstrate innovation, scalability, and the potential to contribute meaningfully to economic development across Africa.
