    African Women Entrepreneurs Can Apply for the Ubuntu Builds Tv Show

    Do you know of any women-headed entrepreneurial, land-owning, lower-income families living in inadequate and dilapidated conditions? If yes, nominate them below and Ubuntu Design Group will partner with them to build them a home and help boost their business venture. Applicants can also nominate themselves.

    One Young World in partnership with Ubuntu Design Group is looking for resilient African women-headed households to feature on their first season’s episodes.

    Ubuntu Builds is an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition type of show that selects Women entrepreneurs from across the continent to build them work-live homes whilst highlighting the backstory of each woman’s culture, history, and resilient story.

    PLEASE NOTE: To complete this application, you will need to include the following supporting documentation:

    1. Monthly Income Support, Bank Statements, etc. (Optional provided that you do not have a bank account)
    2. Proof of land ownership (Deed, “Permission to Occupy,” etc.)
    3. Images displaying current inadequate housing conditions
    4. A well-thought-out business or business idea/plan, including income assumptions and client/market size, for the business you operate or plan to operate out of the commercial space built by Ubuntu Builds (Eg. I have a client willing to rent my commercial space for a year)
