Katapault Accelerator is currently inviting African Startups for an impact-tech programme that offers startups direct assistance and funding to the tune of US$150,000.

The Norwegian based startup is fueled and inspired by  its deep belief in exponential technology. It believes these technologies such as AI and Blockchain can help impact focused startups scale faster while solving real global problems.

The Katapult Accelerator seeks startups using artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and virtual reality (VR) technologies to solve environmental and societal challenges.

Oslo has been designated as the venue of the event which will run for three months from February 2018.

    Benefits:

    • Funding to the tune of US$150,000 in return for eight per cent equity in the business
    • Training and Mentorship throughout the duration of the programme
    • Access to a global network of leading thematic mentors
    • Dedicated expertise to help entrepreneurs unleash the potentials of AI in their  businesses
    • Access to more capital.

Also, a  selected number of companies will also be given the opportunity to take part in a one-month follow-up programme in New York with Katapult partner ERA, a leading startup accelerator that has made 127 investments since 2011 and has a network of more than 350 mentors and dozens of industry partners.

Applications are open until December 15 and interested candidates can apply here.
