Are you African? Do you have a financial tech start-up? Then this information might give your business a great boost.

Applications are currently on for the P2 “Prototype to Product” Accelerator Program 2018 organised by Switzerland-based F10 accelerator.

F10 Incubator and accelerator is a non-profit organization dedicated to FinTech, RegTech, and InsurTech. It supports and guides Startups in transforming their ideas into successful companies, all while stimulating worldwide collaboration with international finance institutions.

Twice a year, F10 offers a 6-month “Prototype to Product” program in which startups will be supported in transitioning their prototype to a sellable product.

The program offers lessons and workshops grouped into 5 units:

    • Vision, Team, Strategy,
    • Business, Product & Technology ,
    • Marketing & Sales,
    • Legal, Regulations, Funding
    • Demo Day & Graduation

The incubator also creates opportunities for worldwide collaboration with international financial institutions and works in cooperation with Swiss companies in the finance, insurance and consulting sectors. It also affords entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet renowned international mentors and coaches who will offer guidance to applicants on their journey to building successful businesses.

In depth experience in all aspects of the financial industry will be gained plus top level connection with big financial players. Also, the training will provide for a comprehensive program adjusted to your development stage, beginning with ideation through prototyping all the way up to having your product successfully on the market, with paying customers.

For successful applicants there will also be access to a global network of banks, regulators and angel investors. The organisation covers applicant’s expense up to 15,000 Swiss Francs per Team and teams will be provided with Office space in the heart of Zurich – Switzerland’s most vibrant city.

To top it the entire entire program is totally free of charge with no equity required.

The latest round of applications is open to all start-ups in fintech, regtech, and insurtech, and is open until December 15, 2017. The programme itself will start on March 5 next year, and run until August 23.

“2017 has been an exciting year in the world of fintech – looking at the creative tech solutions that we are seeing from our start-ups, the future is looking even brighter,” said Markus Graf of F10.

“As the best accelerator in Switzerland, we’re excited to be at the front of these new developments, fostering the ideas and leveraging the skills that these start-ups have by helping them collaborate with industry leaders and build a network of connections. Moreover, our guidance and expert help is proving invaluable in guiding them to maturity in a fast-changing industry.
