Adiwale Fund I, managed by Adiwale Partners, has announced the acquisition of a minority stake in Clinique Ambroise Paré, a leading private healthcare provider in Guinea.
Founded in 2000, Clinique Ambroise Paré has grown to become one of the largest private medical facilities in the country. The clinic serves a diverse patient base, including local communities and international mining companies operating in Guinea, offering a wide range of healthcare services.
Through this investment, Adiwale Fund I aims to actively support the modernization of the clinic’s infrastructure and the expansion of its medical services. The partnership will focus on upgrading equipment, introducing new healthcare offerings, and strengthening operational capacity to meet international standards.
Vissého Gnassounou, Managing Partner at Adiwale Partners, emphasized the importance of this initiative:
Improving access to quality healthcare for our populations is essential. This capital injection will allow us to upgrade medical equipment, launch new services, and recruit additional experienced staff. These improvements will significantly reduce the need for medical evacuations outside Guinea for routine treatments.
Jean-Marc Savi de Tové, Managing Partner at Adiwale Partners, added:
Our objective goes beyond financial support. We aim to reinforce Clinique Ambroise Paré’s governance, enhance its environmental and social practices, and provide operational expertise to position the clinic as a benchmark for healthcare in Guinea.
Dr. Nabil Saad, majority shareholder and CEO of Clinique Ambroise Paré, welcomed the partnership:
Adiwale Fund I’s investment comes at a pivotal moment in our growth journey. Their expertise will help us elevate the quality of our services to international standards and strengthen our governance for long-term sustainability. We are proud to collaborate with an African private equity fund that shares our vision of building a stronger, more inclusive healthcare system. This transformation aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering high-quality care locally and shaping the future of healthcare in Africa.
