Access Bank Congo has announced the appointment of Adeboye Isaac as its new Country Managing Director, following formal approval from the Central Bank of the Congo. This leadership transition marks a significant milestone for the bank as it continues its growth trajectory in the Congolese market.
Adeboye Isaac succeeds Arinze Osuachala, who served as Country Managing Director for eight years. Under Osuachala’s leadership, Access Bank Congo underwent a remarkable transformation—from a small franchise into a profitable, well-capitalized institution. During his tenure, the bank achieved:
- Consistent balance sheet growth
- Strengthened revenue streams
- Capital levels maintained above regulatory requirements
Additionally, the bank expanded its branch network from 2 to 22 locations nationwide and upgraded its core banking systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer service. These strategic developments have positioned Access Bank Congo ahead of its growth milestones and laid a strong foundation for the next phase under Adeboye Isaac’s leadership.
Bringing over 18 years of banking experience, Adeboye Isaac has a diverse background spanning commercial banking, operations, risk management, customer experience, and technology transformation. He has held several senior leadership roles within the Access Bank Group, consistently delivering on execution and institutional growth.
His academic credentials include:
- Alumni of Harvard Business School, Wharton, IMD, and Lagos Business School
- A Chartered MBA from Bangor University
- An MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University
