Is this another Olajumoke Orisaguna story – the bread seller turned model?
Abdulahi Olatoyan was on his daily job of cleaning windows when a photographer Daniel Sync decided to take photos of him.
At first, Abdulahi was angry at his photos being taken but he calmed down when he realised that it was out of fascination.
According to photographer Sync, “He is the first suited windscreen cleaner I have ever seen. We need more innovative citizens like Abdulahi in Nigeria”.
The photographs have since gone viral – with Olatoyan offered a job at Nigerian clothing line OUCH.
OUCH’s designer posted the picture on his Instagram page offering a job to Olatoyan and listing seven reasons why he deserved the job. He asked his 18,000 followers to help track down Olatoyan.
Olatoyan has now been a offered a job as a ‘style doctor’ at the menswear brand: “I have a team of young people that I call style doctors,” says Nnaji, “when I saw him I thought this person is someone that likes looking good and can style others”.
