Thirty innovative startups have been announced as finalists for the Latitude59 Kenya Pitch Competition, chosen from a competitive pool of 222 applications representing 27 countries. This selection marks a key milestone in the lead-up to one of Africa’s most dynamic startup showcases.

    About Latitude59

Latitude59 is the flagship tech and startup conference of Estonia, the world’s first digital nation. Its recent 13th edition, held in Tallinn in May, attracted:

    • 3,500+ participants
    • 900+ startup representatives
    • 700 investors
    • 170 speakers
    • Attendees from 70+ countries worldwide

The event serves as a global platform for innovation, investment, and collaboration, connecting founders with investors and ecosystem leaders.

African Pitch Competition: Third Year Running

For the third consecutive year, Latitude59 has hosted an African pitch competition to spotlight ventures driving impact across the continent. The 30 selected startups will now undergo intensive pitch training, after which 10 finalists will be chosen to present live at the grand finale in Nairobi, scheduled for December 3–5.

Liisi Org, CEO of Latitude59, commented:

The quality of this year’s applicants was incredible — African founders are building for scale, not just survival. They’re solving meaningful problems with a bold, global mindset. We can’t wait to see them light up the stage in Nairobi.
