PayConnect, a Nigerian startup where you can get quick and hassle-free loans without collateral alongside 16 other African startups have been selected to take part in the 2016 Global Impact Accelerator (GIA) at the Slush event in Helsinki Finland where they will be coached and mentored to help them accelerate their businesses and get much-needed funding for their startups.
The 16 African startups and their countries include:

Zambia: TeleDoctor, Musanga Logistics, and waste management company, NewTech
Tanzania: Millennium Engineers and drones company, Colifly
South Africa: Kgoshigada Tradings and agri-tech startup Agri Apps
Mozambique: Mozambikes and IzyShop
Ethiopia: HaletaTech and digital mapping solution, Karta
Kenya: Yusidi
Tunisia: WebRadar
The Slush event will be attended by 15,000 persons and will take place between November 30 and December 1. The Global Impact Accelerator is a programme created in collaboration with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. It is one of Europe’s leading startup event that connects startups and tech talent with top international investors, executives and media.
