The second edition of the Pitch2Win competition has identified fifteen Nigerian startups as finalists, with the event offering a substantial prize of up to $10,000 and an opportunity for the winner to travel to Japan.
Organized by Techcircle in partnership with Freakout, SGverse, and SGgrow, Pitch2Win is set to take place on June 12. During this event, ten selected startups will be given the platform to present their innovative ideas before a panel of distinguished judges and potential investors.
The competition’s grand prize includes $10,000 in equity-free funding and a fully-funded trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, which is Japan’s premier cryptocurrency conference. This event provides a significant chance for networking and gaining insights into international market trends.
Among the finalists are a diverse range of startups, such as 10mg Pharma, an e-health platform; Acceede, a payment service for schools; Apisentry, a solution for securing APIs; Beezop, a platform for employee management; and Bunce, a service focused on customer engagement.
Other competitors include Edusko, an educational technology startup; Eight Medical, another e-health platform; Fullgap, a business management tool; Mida Africa, which offers an AI-driven ethical debt collection service; and Pave HQ, a digital learning platform.
Completing the list of contenders are Preggify, a pregnancy care service; Regxta, a platform aimed at financial inclusion; Sendstack, a business management startup; Sync!, a team management platform; and Trade Lenda, a provider of credit services.
Oo Nwoye, the founder of TechCircle, expressed that Pitch2Win is dedicated to bridging the gaps in funding and mentorship for startups, as well as empowering those whose innovative solutions could significantly influence the future of technology in Africa.
