Infinix is set to literally create a riot on Jumia, the largest platform for online sales in Côte d’Ivoire. On Friday, November 27th at 10 AM and 6PM, 100 Infinix free of charge smartphones will be available on the platform. Customers will be able to order a smartphone without paying anything for it.
Already touted as the largest e-commerce event in the history of the company, Jumia’s “Mad Friday” looks even more spectacular than expected. On Friday, November 27, Infinix will offer on Jumia, 100 smartphones Infinix Hot 2, on a first arrived, first served basis. 50 Infinix Hot 2 will be available at 10 AM and then, the other 50, at 6 PM.
“Jumia customers will only have to confirm their order and wait home for their new smartphone to be delivered. Of course, the fastest customers will be the luckiest, “says Francis Dufay, Managing Director of Jumia Côte d’Ivoire.
With this new brilliant stroke, Infinix and Jumia make a huge step in their efforts to support a digital transformation that relies profusely on mobile internet access. The two partner companies have become major activists of the digital transformation on the continent. As a reminder, the Infinix Hot 2 is part of Google’s Android One initiative. The ultramodern device was put on sale exclusively on Jumia in Africa last August.
