    10 Nigerian Startups Selected For iNOVO Accelerator

    Ten Nigerian startups have been chosen to participate within the iNOVO accelerator, which affords coaching and mentorship to disruptive options to challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The iNOVO accelerator programme is an initiative of the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub in partnership with Ventures Platform and Startupbootcamp AfriTech. It is focused on startups with innovative solutions in the ed-tech, agri-tech and e-health sectors.

    Over 750 applications were received and after screening and review, 20 were invited to take part in Last Choice Days. After pitching to entrepreneurs and experienced industry leaders, 10 were selected for a three-month programme.

    Meet the 10 selected startups :

    Agritech

    Agriple, which offers farmers with predictive analytics to find out the perfect crops to plant.

    Farmer First Applied sciences, an internet platform offering farmers with microloans and direct entry to consumers at aggressive market costs. 

    Foodbank.ng, which offers households entry to hassle-free meals loans whereas decreasing meals wastage for retailers.

    Rural Farmers Hub, which offers farmers with near-real time crop advisory companies utilizing satellite-based distant imagery and sensing.  

    Edtech

    Afrilearn, which offers curriculum-relevant video classes mixed with gamified examination follow.

    DigiLearns, an AI-based cell adaptive studying device that grants entry to top quality instructional content material through SMS or USSD.

    Schoola, a multilingual, gamified studying resolution for Ok-12 faculties that makes use of AI for analytics and content material era. 

    Healthtech
