Journalist and social media personality Tolu Ogunlesi is set to be named President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media.
PREMIUM TIMES reported Ogunlesi has undergone security screening and his appointment is to be announced in the coming days.
During the last presidential election, Ogunlesi was very active on Twitter, using his Twitter handle to support the candidacy of Muhammadu Buhari.
When he officially assumes office, Ogunlesi will be the anchor of the Buhari administration, a role played by Reno Omokri for former President Goodluck Jonathan.
