We had earlier leaked a story on the new gadget from the stables of Tecno. In fact, the Tecno Winpad 10, is a combined effort of 3 giants – Tecno, Microsoft and Intel.
It was officially launched in Kenya today at an event where TecnoMobile Deputy General Manager for tablet business unit Steven Huang, Microsoft country manager Kenya Mr Kunle Awosika and Intel general manager East Africa Danie Steyn represented the three companies.
In Kenya, the Tecno WinPad 10, which combines a phonepad and a laptop, was launched with the aim of capturing the business and entertainment markets in Kenya.
It will be sold in the Safaricom retail outlets for Sh29,999.
It will be launched in Nigeria tomorrow.
