Social Media lights up with Oba Rilwanu Akiolu’s alleged threat on the Igbos

The Oba of Lagos has come under heavy criticism after news filtered onto the Internet of his diatribe against the Igbos living in Lagos.

Oba Rilwanu Akiolu was caught on camera threatening the Igbos against voting the APC Governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode. This was made when the Oba summoned the Igbo leaders to his palace and said he would make life miserable for them if they sabotage efforts to vote the APC candidate.

Here are some of the tweets:

I'd like to apologise to the Igbos. No people should be subjected to the words uttered by the Oba of Lagos to your Lagos. I am shocked!

Oba Akiolu messed up and he stands condemned but to make it sound like some grand Yoruba conspiracy is laughable. Don't push it please
