There are reports that Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have been blocked in Turkey amid talks of an attempted coup.

There are talks of military tanks on the streets of Istanbul.

The Prime Minister has stated that the coup was conducted by a small minority in the country.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in an interview over FaceTime with the CNN Turk, dismissed the action as “an attempt at an uprising by a minority within our armed forces.” He has told people to take to the streets against the military coup.
