Google is indeed going into an area it has never ventured into before; food delivery and home services.  The tech giant has just launched an app called Areo in India. Areo is basically an Android app that enables you order for food from your favourite restaurants, providers and chefs and Home services from local electricians, painters, cleaners, plumbers and more.

It is currently only available in Bangalore and Mumbai and you can pay for the services by card, netbanking or cash on delivery.

According to TNW, Google has signed up local partners UrbanClap for home services, and Freshmenu, Box8 and Faasos for food delivery.

There is however no word when it will be available in other countries
