This action was as a result of new reports of overheating and fires with phones that have been distributed to replace the original devices which are also combustible.

According to a statement, Samsung stated that: “It was temporarily adjusting the Galaxy Note 7 production schedule in order to take effective steps to address safety matters.”

The suspension of production is a clear sign of the seriousness with Samsung is dealing with its largest product recall ever. Samsung is not helped in this Note 7 crises as tech experts are calling for the permanent halt of the Note 7 production.
